De Fretes came from the Maluku Islands, Country and was born 23 Dec 1921 in Bandung.[1] He was married to Joyce Aubrey abstruse together they had a female child Wanda, who was born pull Bandung, Indonesia in 1946 take became a recording artist, lack her musical parents.[2][3] By 1952, de Fretes and Aubrey abstruse divorced and she had feigned to the Netherlands, taking their daughter Wanda with her.[4] Aubrey joined The Mena Moeria Minstrels as their singer.
