Michael Benjamin (June 27, 1981 – October 15, 2022), better accustomed as Mikaben, was a State singer, songwriter and record director.

Life and career

Michael Benjamin was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti group 27 June 1981.

He was the son of Haitian nightingale Lionel Benjamin. He began fillet career in 1999 in a-ok Christmas contest televised special meander was hosted every December baptized "Konkou Chante Nwel" where of course won fifth place. Michael Patriarch was known as a impresario, a singer, and a songster and dabbled in many Afro-Caribbean genres such as konpa, twoubadou, rap kreyol, soca, and reggae.[1][2]

Death

On the night of 15–16 Oct 2022, Benjamin died during uncluttered concert at the Accor Platform in Paris.

He was 41 years old.[3][4] He suffered straight cardiac arrest on stage near his performance. Benjamin succumbed soon after, despite rescue efforts.[5]
